Usually I charge a flat rate that is less than I pay for shipping but on larger items I use calculated shipping. The USPS has been terrible lately and has shown items that I dropped off same or next day as "waiting for item" then one day they just magically appear as delivered. I have stopped dropping packages off and now wait and watch them scan packages in front of me. Hopefully this will prevent this from happening but be aware that once I drop a package off I have no control what happens to it after that.
