Each input is equipped with a dedicated GAIN knob and -20dB PAD switch, allowing you to input the +4dB line level used by professional equipment without distortion. 5VDC USB power supply (AC adapter AD-17, etc., sold separately) can be connected to the EXH-8 to supply the phantom power required for use with condenser microphones. If you connect a USB power supply of 5V DC (such as AD17 AC adapter, sold separately) to the EXH-8, you can supply the phantom power required for use with condenser microphones. The H8 can be used as a 10-track MTR with the built-in MUSIC app, as a 4 sound pad + 8 mic input recorder with the PODCAST app, and as a 12-track (10 tracks + L/R mix) field recorder with the FIELD app. As a field recorder for recording, it can be used for projects that require up to 10 channels of input.
