Judge Julian Mack and Doctor Stephen S Wise are discussed as is Weizmann, his success at raising money for the Palestine projects, and discussions of what the money should be used for. There are, of course, many other interesting features in this magazine… One excellent two-page piece has photos of Samuel Gompers with his new wife and also as a young man as he had just been re-elected to head the American Federation of Labor. The article emphasizes the conservative/American nature of the AF of L’s organization at a time when there was great fear of foreign and Bolshevik influence in organized U.S. labor. This is a wonderful time capsule. It is in fine condition with typical vintage corner and edge wear. THE COVER HAS FOXING AROUND THE EDGES... It's not mint, but fairly gently read and a tough find!
