Description: Zildjian Legendary 21” Rock Ride Cymbal with “Special Bell” This is a late 1970’s Avedis Zildjian “Rock Ride” cymbal which I bought new around 1980. It features Zildjian’s small stamp with light embossing from the 70’s. Below the stamp, you can see the faded lettering “ROCK RIDE”. This cymbal weighs in at 3,190 grams (7# 1 oz) and features the “special bell” measuring 5-5/8” diameter and 7/8” height. The bell is perfect for upper shaft shots or firm drum tip pings. No key holing or cracks (it would be hard to crack this bad boy). The legendary 21” Rock Ride has been discontinued but you can find one right here. I’ve acquired a lot of cymbals in my 45 years of playing drums and buying drum stuff. I need to thin out the herd a little. The red tinting you see in some of the photos is a reflection of my red shirt.
