Description: This is the iconic, Zeiss 35mm Biogon lens- with the famous T coating- for all of the Zeiss Ikon Contax rangefinder cameras, the 1, II, and III series. This lens is in superb condition- both cosmetically & functionally! Lens glass is totally clean & clear- only dust is seen within the lens elements; nothing to affect image quality. The chrome is intact & shining. Focus & aperature rings move smoothly & completely. Everything works as intended; and there are no flaws seen on the lens at all! This is one of the finest wide angle lenses ever created for 35mm still photography; and this Biogon is T coated- for optimal image quality. -Also, the Opton Biogons are from West Germany; and are better made than the East German, Jena T lenses.
