Description: This is a Zanzibar Provisional SG 36, issued in 1895-98. It has a 2 1/2 Type 4 IN RED. This is a RARE stamp, and it is in Fine to Very Fine Mint Condition with Original Gum. Something to note with this stamp in particular is that the 2 1/2 Overprint has been placed very low. So low, in fact, that it intersects with the black Zanzibar. SG 36 is valued at L225 in the Stanley Gibbons Catalogue. This lot is over $100 USD so I will ship it using priority mail in the United States, and registered mail overseas. This is to ensure that it reaches you in a safe and timely manner, and includes tracking!
