Description: Known for her trademark colored hair (it's now pink), British designer Dame Zandra Rhodes, also known as the Princess of Punk, became a fashion phenomenon in the late 1960s (Freddy Mercury and Queen wore her designs in the '70s). This vintage mini dress is a rare Zandra Rhodes design from the 1980s, possibly late 1970s. The dress is a double V-neck shift with fabulous puffed statement sleeves. The silk georgette crepe fabric bears a geometric print inspired by Rhodes' world travels. It closese with a back zipper and two buttons at the back neck. The shell fabric is 100% silk; the lining is a red polyester charmeuse. Labeled UK size 10, which is considered equivalent to a US size 6. However, measurements indicate the dress is closest to a modern US size 4.
