This one still in operation by NetRail. 41 units were built by ASEA between 1953 and 1960. It was derived from the older Mg-series, but unlike its predecessor it is used for freight as well as for passenger trains. It is also the locomotive that have seen the longest use in Sweden. Model: This fine detailed model features a coreless motor drive with fly wheel. All axles are powered. LED headlights change with running direction LEDs are used for the lighting. Equipped with a DCC decoder A note from the manufacturer: DCC locos in Z-scale need a lower voltage, if they are powered by a HO or N DCC equipment damage of the loco or any other equipment can occur. Warranty will be void if a higher DCC voltage has been applied then recommended by the manufacturer. One recommended power supply would be the Roco multimaus and a Fleischmann 680801 unit equipment with a 12 volts 2.5 amps wall adaptor. DCC units for N-scale and HO scale are powered with up to 18 volts. This might damage a z-scale loco.
