I don’t know a lot about this painting because I purchased it from an estate sale & no one there could enlighten me. I bought it for the brightly embellished color and I was intrigued by the muted but obvious details of the chair. Unfortunately I put it in a closet until recently, when it was found once again. It's been protected in an acrylic covering and is just as brilliant as it was the day I bought it...I always meant to frame it.
