Young African American Girl, Large and Elegant Artwork. Excellent Condition.

Description: This is a wonderful composition that is both honoring to the young girl in this painting and gives a snapshot into her life. The artist has beautifully captured her youth and innocence. Not only is this young child a very pretty girl, she looks like a bright child that will go very far in life. The way she is dressed tells that she is loved and adored by her family. The columns in the painting are very impressive and regal. They do not speak to me that she is a servant girl with an empty basket...Not at all. They speak to me that she is among those who have found their dreams and have harvested those dreams into the bounty of reality. Her basket may be empty, but just around the corner the basket will be full... Just a note regarding the photos: Every photo was taken with the protective glass front in place. You will likely see just a tiny bit of reflection in some of the photos (camera flashback). There are no flaws with this artwork. As stated in the condition's section, I will replace the glass with acrylic art glass (Plexiglass), at the time of shipping. Plexiglass is nearly shatterproof, and this will assure a safe delivery. The signature is a print signature. It is very very faint (lower right corner of this print), so faint that I didn’t see it for quite some time. The artist is: Stephen Scott Young. The artist painted this same girl throughout the years. All of the paintings feature her in a similar staging. At this time I am shipping throughout the 48 states. Shipping by: USPS., UPS., or FedEx.
