A rare Yellow 12P Variation box that is in remarkable condition considering the box was produced over 38 years ago ! This original box will be packaged very carefully for shipment inside of a shipping box. Box was acquired during the 1980's for a private collection. CONDITION: The best representation, as to the overall condition, is each of the listed pictures. The pictures are part of the Condition/Description; you will receive the exact item(s) shown in the pictures. This box displays beautifully ! Colors are vibrant & bold, with a clean, presentable appearance. Nice square corners and no unoriginal markings or writing. The box top lid is not perforated ! Code on the bottom of the box is "1-494-0-6". To consider, normal wear for a box of this age - slight surface wear, slight edge wear, minor creasing. On the box Top lid at the lower left corner, below the "G" of "GARBAGE", there is a 1/8" tear (please see 1st and 15th picture). The Front-side panel at the lower left corner there is a 1/4" surface tear to the top layer of paper; the tear does not go all the way through (please see 4th, 5th, 6th picture). The box top lid - Interior front flap - is creased in 4 places; at the upper left corner, at the upper right and in the right edge area. These creases can not be seen when the box top lid is closed (please see 13th, 14th, 15th picture). At the upper left corner there is a 5/16" tear. This tear can be seen when the box top lid is closed (please see 1st, 15th, 16th picture). The - Interior - left flap is creased 5/8". This crease can not be seen when the box top lid is closed (please see 19th picture). The Bottom of the box, at the center of the two connecting flaps, is torn 7/16" (please see 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th picture). Due to the tear, the bottom of the box is slightly concave as the two connecting flaps go past their meeting point. If anything of weight was placed into the box, the bottom of the box would easily flatten and no longer be concave. Only mentioned for accuracy - I have experienced that all of these UK 1st Series boxes are hard to open once the box top lid is closed all of the way. It takes patience to open the box without creasing the interior flap or box top lid. Please see the 17th and 18th picture - the box top lid will open all of the way, but has never been opened all of the way. This is as far as the box has ever been opened. This is a good thing when considering condition. Please view / zoom all 24 pictures.
