Description: Fantastic Early Yanagisawa Alto Saxophone. Own apiece of saxophone history! An early design form the 1970's based on the 170XXX serial number probably January 1970? My best assessment. I am not the original owner so don't know any history. No major dents, some lacquer loss but plays very nicely very focused sound and low resistance. It may have been repadded as the pads are pretty clean for 50 years old if original and the neck cork is in good shape. Will receive a full disassemble clean on lubricate and adjust before shipping out. Has around left hand pinky table (not tilting) similar to the PRIMA models of the day. Note Red Yanagisawa's emblem in neck and on back below thumb rest. I am not very good at playing altissimo but this one is vary easy to hit F# with the alt front F fingering. That is just my experience. FWIW Note : I will ship internationally but the additional fees (Shipping duties and handling) may be $300-$500 through Ebay international.
