Description: Extended pilot mixture screw for 1987-2000 "early" yamaha tw200 carburetors. The idea was born from the hatred of having to carry a cut down pocket flathead only to burn your hands while attempting to adjust your pilot mixture screw. It shoots out conveniently below the carb for easier, tool-less adjustment, even when the engine is at operating temp (wear gloves!) Includes a new o-ring but does not include a spring. Replaces just the pilot screw from yamaha part # 51Y-14105-00-00 NOTE: You cannot run more than approximately 4 turns out without running the risk of the screw vibrating loose due to insufficient spring tension. If you are needing to run you pilot circuit that rich, likely there are other issues with the engine and/or carburetor tuning that richening the pilot will not solve. If your engine is in proper operating condition and you still have a lean condition, you will likely need to change the pilot JET and/or main jet. ALSO NOTE: the small tapered metering end of the pilot screw is INCREDIBLY fragile. Use EXTREME caution when installing the screw, as dropping it from a short distance can and will bend, break or damage the tip! CNC machined brass, knurled, flathead slot on top, and an indexing notch on the side to keeping track of your settings. The screw is designed for the 1987 to 2000 model year TK (Teikei) non-CV carburetor. It will not work on the 2001 and newer CV type TK carb.
