Description: Y2K Madame Alexander 16" Standing Ovation Elise Ballerina #40410 (2005) RESTRUNG16-inch vinyl doll with the modern Elise (Coco) face has red hair with side wispy bangs. The rest is pulled to a bun at the back of the head and surrounded with pink ribbon tied into a bow. The same pink ribbon is used as a choker with flower accent. The tutu is of pink tulle. The top has spirals of green satin and pink rick rack around the bodice. Sequins and beading decorate the top edge. There is champagne satin at midriff area and a panel of pink decorated with pink and green sequins. The bodice and skirt lace in the back. The skirt has a drop waist of green with the pink tulle attached. Pink and green cloth spirals cover the skirt. They are decorated with sequins and beading. Underneath are panty hose with satin panties. The ballet shoes are champagne colored with ribbons. Includes hang tag, paperwork, original box. Excellent, preloved condition.She is pictured on p. 25 of the 2005 Madame Alexander Catalogue. NOTE: I have restrung her with all new elastics in 2024, as these dolls are notorious for falling apart. She is bendy because of the two-piece midsection and the rotational legs for dancing, but she is stronger than ever now!It's time to downsize! All items come from either my mother's extensive doll collection, my own, or that of my sister and good friend. All of the items have been stored carefully in a climate-controlled, non-smoking, pet-friendly home. There may be signs of wear on boxes from storage.
