Early European examples date from the 13th century, and the German stoneware Bartmann jug was a popular later medieval and Renaissance form. The British Toby jug is a later example,it goes on more than I want to post here. I show "Mel" with Evangeline Ghastly holding the gold cord I strung him with so he can hang from her hand or from the ceiling of a miniature room box...say a Witch or Wizard or any box really.I like to think of them as an intercom system.Or just a fun jug. You also can use them for a necklace drop to confuse your friends. The imagination for these are limitless.
