Description: WWII WW2 Vietnam Canvas Rucksack Military Round Copper Insert Marked AS Not sure what the purpose of this bag was. It has a divided bottom with a large round grommet style hole in the dividing panel. The interior side/end has a copper covered disc with round holes like an old rotary phone dial. There are cloth pockets in several areas around the inner rim. Two sets of adjustable rear straps. The buckles have a sort of herringbone design. Thick leather straps with no buckles hold tight when slid through there opposing hasp. The only markings I can find is inside at the center of the top of the rear panel. The letters “AS” are stamped inside of a square box. Nice solid overall condition without rips or worn areas or loose stitching. It has stains as pictured. We have not attempted to clean it other than brush it off. Measures approx 12” across, 11” tall and 5” wide. Review the pictures and know what you’re buying because I don’t know what I am selling.
