Description: Description: 24th Army Corps Patched Ike Jacket Patched as seen in photos, 24th Army Corps, Corporal. The Corporal chevrons are the wool type. If you added a period ribbon bar, this coat could be a really attractive piece! As with any vintage wool uniform, it has scattered mothing but nothing that’s a significant drawback. See photos and judge the overall condition for yourself. I took a photo of the worst mothing I could see, which was on the collar area. The coat is size 34S and dated April 16, 1945. There is a laundry number inside the jacket, so you could probably research the soldier that wore it. The jacket also includes a pair of late war trousers with a name and laundry number. I’m not sure if they belonged to the same person, but they came together so I’m selling them together. *The pants are marked size 31x31, but have been hemmed as can be seen in the pictures.* The 24th Army Corp played a key role in the battles at Leyte in the Philippine Islands. Marked size: Jacket: 34S, Pants: 31x31* Items will go out in the mail either on the next Monday or 2-3 days after an item is sold- whichever is sooner. I ship with USPS unless requested otherwise, and will keep you in the loop on shipping. Items are sold AS-IS, so PLEASE review all photos and read the description thoroughly. These are collectors items and may be fragile, so please ensure you handle them appropriately to prevent damage. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please don't hesitate to send me a message. I'm more then happy to take more pictures of an item if that'd make you feel more comfortable with a purchase. Offers are always welcome! Thanks for looking!
