Description: For your consideration is a Great Piece of Trench Art from WWII. It is an ashtray with a P-38 Lighting sitting on top. Also included is a candlestick holder. The ashtray is 10” high and the base is 4.25” in diameter. The P-38 is about 5.25” long and 8.25” wide. The candle holder is 5.75” high and the base is 2.5” in diameter. Their condition is very nice. They have a great brass patina. I lightened some of my photos so you can see the detail of the art work. There are scratches, tarnished areas and minor rust. The P-38 slips of the base. A tiny bit of glue will hold the plane to the base.
