Description: WWII Seabees three page letter with envelope from an enlisted engineer to a friend in July 1942. Both pages are in great shape with the envelope showing typical signs of ware along the opened edge. The history that the Seabees 15th Battalion left behind is legendary, well worth some research. This letter was handwritten right after the Yorktown Carrier was torpedoed in the Midway conflict of which he made reference to knowing crew members. Clearly written and a joy to read.
