Description: WWII M1903A3 Springfield Walnut Stock POSSIBLY Reworked into M1922 M2 Stock Configuration Thru the DCM (Pre CMP) as a N.R.A. 4 H Version / .30 Caliber N.R.A. Special (?????). The alteration into a M1922 M2 conversion is far too well done to have come from a home workshop project. There is tape residue on the bottom right side of the buttstock. The stock came to me in a large group of stocks and parts from the estate of a retired gunsmith / collector and competition match shooter with the hand written tag pictured in the photographs. The gunsmith's son could provide no additional specific information about the stock. I CANNOT PROVE ANY OF THIS INFORMATION TO BE TRUE OR ACCURATE AND I WILL LEAVE THAT TO THOSE WITH MORE KNOWLEDGE THAN I DO !!!!!! USPS SHIPPING FOR LONG PACKAGES HAS BECOME OUTRAGEOUS !!!!!!
