Description: An original WWII era Military Aircraft Gun Sight Reflector Assembly part number 38A2197. These Types of Reflectors were mounted to the pilot’s glare shield above the Instrument Panel, directly aft of the windshield and in sight for the pilot. A gun sight below would beam a light onto the glass of this type of reflector. These appear to be in new surplus condition but I am selling them as used as the paint is scratched. You are purchasing a “Reflector”, not a gun sight itself. The spacing of the screws front to back and side to side is front to aft 2", side to side 4" and the dimensions of the glass is 3 3/8" x 2 3/4". The one pictured is representative of the one that you will receive.
