Description: This is an original honorable discharge chevron that officers often purchased as they were not issued honorable discharge chevrons by the government. US enlisted troops at the end of WW1 were required to wear the honorable discharge chevron to show that they were not deserters trying to sneak back home. Those chevrons were usually felt sewn on wool, but sometimes the issued chevrons were not available, so this chevron is seen on both officer's and enlisted uniforms. There are some moth nips on the wool background, so please look at the photos for condition. I will send for free untracked, or tracked for extra cost. If you want tracked shipping, please see the other shipping options.
