Medal For Combat Service # 282919 Bravery Medal # 1340563 Capture of Kenigsberg Medal Liberation of Warsaw Medal Veteran Medal 40 years Victory Anniversary 1945-1985 Verteran Medal 40 Years Armed Forces According to research, awarded Zeytula Abibulaev, a native of Karmysh village, Ak-Sheikh district, Crimean ASSR, born in 1918. He served in the Red Army since September 1939 and was on the front lines starting from May 1942. He was wounded on August 9, 1943. By Order No. 10/n dated July 23, 1944, of the 55th Guards Mogilev Howitzer Artillery Regiment of the Reserve of the Supreme High Command, gun layer Guard Sergeant Zeytula Abibulaev was awarded the Bravery Medal for the following actions: "On 23.06.44, he destroyed an enemy machine gun in the area of the village of Golovichi. A destroyed machine gun, the bodies of three machine gunners, and one radio operator were found on the battlefield. On June 27, 1944, in the area of Golovchin village, he dispersed up to a company of enemy infantry, with more than 40 bodies of soldiers and officers of the enemy found on the battlefield. On August 22, 1944, in the battle in the area of Zambrw city, Abibulaev's gun destroyed two machine guns, and one machine gun was suppressed, killing up to 35 Nazis. On August 23 and 24, 1944, in the battle for Snyadovo station, having brought the gun to direct aiming, he hit an enemy self-propelled gun..." By Order No. 076/n dated September 16, 1944, of the 42nd Rifle Division (49th Army of the 2nd Belorussian Front), gun layer of the 55th Howitzer Artillery Mogilev Regiment of the Reserve of the Supreme High Command, Guard Sergeant Zeytula Abibulaev was awarded the "Order of the Red Star".
