Description: WW2 original German Helmet M40. Battlefield relic from Latvia (Kurland Kessel). Found in German army positions near the Liepaja. The helmet was repainted during the war, covering the original decal. However, during the cleaning process, the decal underneath the second layer of paint started to show through.
