Description: One original mid to late war production WW2 japanese type 38 or type 99 rifle bayonet with scabbard, the type 30 arisaka bayonet fit both the type 99 and type 38 rifles and carbines, bayonet is in good serviceable condition, sharpened blade, still has factory edge, late war squared pommel type, wood handles are good, release works smoothly, blade is very good, mid to late war squared full quillon with rounded barrel ring, is good, serial number on base of pommel is 580305. scabbard fits very well. scabbard is Korean war rewok with US belt hanger, painted olive drab green. very rare scabbard. Makers mark is Toyoda automated loom works under kokura arsenal supervision in tokyo.
