Description: This is a WW2 group of 5 medals to a soldier in the Royal Army Service Corps who served in Africa and Italy. 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, (8th Army Clasp), Italy Star, Defence Medal & War Medal, (M.I.D. Oak Leaf), (all unnamed as issued). Transmittal slip present confirming 5 medals & 2 emblems. Comes with his named, (T/178720 SGT Ronald Metcalf), ( pay book, release book, certificate of transfer to reserve etc etc. There is also an album of photo's, humorously named, 'My Holiday Snaps', with photo's of him and some of his unit in Egypt 1941 and 1943.
