Description: WW2 British Army India Army Ordnance Corps Tropical Worsted Officer Jacket Genuine period service dress jacket as worn by an officer who served in the India Army Ordance Corps in the Far East theatre during the Second World War. The tropical worsted uniform was introduced to replace the service dress jacket in in the Medditerrian and Far East theatres, they are made of a lightweight material which was more suitable in hot climates. The jacket is in good original clean condition, however there are some signs of wear. Made from all natural fibres and features: brass India Army Ordnance Corps, holes to the epaulettes for rank pips and waist belt.
