Description: I am stating on material that this plate is pewter, Bone China, Ceramic, & porcelain, all do to the fact I am not sure what it is made of, other than being stamped on bottom (back) Pewtarex.When tapping with my fingernail, it sounds like porcelain/ glass. Rare find! Vintage Pewter "Pewtarex" from York Pennsylvania. Vintage from the 1960's. Materials: Metal. Vintage Pewter Plate for candies, decorating, etc.. Heavy, sturdy metal construction. Date of manufacture is 1823 ?I do see dot holes (punctures) all over top and bottom. Not sure if they are made because of usage, or if it is the style make of this item? Is still very usable. Shiny like aluminum foil. All measurements are approximates: 10" Diameter x 3/4" height. I dust items off for photos. I leave proper cleaning/ washing up to buyer.
