Description: This is a very amazing petrified agatized wood limb specimen with one face polished which was collected from the Green River formation from the ancient now extinct Lake Gosiute in the Eden Valley area, Sweetwater County, Wyoming. Wyoming’s Lake Gosiute was a large crocodile-infested water body in a closed basin. This very gorgeous specimen has been polished on one end and has some beautiful botryoidal areas. This fossil Eocene wood specimen measures 3.57 inches long by 3.10 inches wide and weighs 14 ounces.
