An entire Gershwin tribute from 1977 is here plus half of the group's Rodgers & Hart date from 1975. The WGJB's tribute series was generally not as freewheeling as their other projects, with some of the ensembles being arranged and the solos often being briefer than usual. There are some hot moments on this CD, particularly during such Gershwin numbers as "Liza," "Strike Up the Band" and "'S Wonderful."
