Description: I have for sale a souvenir medal from the 1919 World Cotton Conference that was held in New Orleans, Louisiana. This medal is bronze looking, it is 1 1/4 inch in diameter and its in circulated condition with spots. This medal use to have a loop at the top, but it is now missing. This medal when original was hung from a pin back name plate bar. On one side of the medal at the rim it reads WORLD COTTON CONFERENCE and at the bottom rim on a ribbon it reads CO-OPERATION. In the center scene it shows two males holding a cloth in front of a female. On the other side at the top it shows two globes with a branch on either side. In the center it reads WORLD COTTON - CONFERENCE - NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA - USA - OCTOBER 13, 14, 15, & 16 1919. At the bottom rim there is another branch.
