Description: At the my asking price, I am offering you a tested well working Tek 284, serial # B102046, tunnel diode based 70pS risetime pulse gen. While I don’t have anything faster than a 500MHz Tek TDS3054 (not part of this sale) to resolve its speed, the photo shows it is as fast as can be expected on such a scope, and tunnel diodes tend to either work correctly or not at all. Light travels less than an inch in 70pS, that’s how fast this risetime is, and it may suffer spreading while conveyed in any length of cable. Besides the 0.2Vpp 50 KHz very fast pulses, this gen has another side where it can output 0.1, 1, and 10 MHz square waves and 100MHz & 1 GHz sines. Z is 50 ohms for all outputs. Please make sure Ebay has your current correct ship-to address on file before you pay as that is where I must ship.
