I ship overlays inside of archive-quality protective sleeves and firm-plastic top loaders (the kind used for baseball cards).I clean the contacts of every cartridge I sell with a 91% isopropyl alcohol followed by a deoxidizing agent (e.g., DeOxit D5) to remove built-up oxides and sulfides that prevent good contact.I test every cartridge I sell on an original stock video game console.If the game is working, I will indicate this and provide a photo of an in-game screenshot taken during the test; if it is not working despite my best efforts, I will likewise indicate this. Any diagonal lines or excessive pixelation visible on the screen of the television I used for testing are artifacts only. This is due to a mismatch between the CRT's refresh rate and my camera phone's exposure settings.
