Description: On offer, we have a typed thank you letter signed by President Woodrow Wilson. On engraved White House stationery, this is dated November 29, 1916. The letter is hand signed in ink. With this is a Underwood & Underwood photograph of the President hand signed in black ink "Woodrow Wilson 1912". This letter measures 8 1/2" X 7" and the photo is 5 1/4" X 3". The letter and photograph are matted in a custom made frame. This measures 15" X 17 1/2" X 3/4" and weighs 2 pounds 14.5 ounces. Yes, these are authentic. My rare book dealer has authenticated President Wilson's signatures comparing them with others in his inventory. He also assures me the autographs are "live Ink", not printed. I believe this is in excellent condition. Both letter and photo are clear, clean and bold. Using different lighting, my photos show that the letter has been handled and has some light wrinkles. The signature on the letter is much lighter than on the photograph. The frame has some scratches and a spot of paint. As I am not an expert, please see my photographs for more description.
