These are open/hollow on the head, but the hole does not go all the way through. NOTE: There are little staples under the rim of the head, probably to grab thread. The staples do not stick out and will not poke you. THEY ARE IN VARIOUS STATES OF RUST. SOME HAVE A LITTLE RUST ON THE BANDS, OTHERS HAVE MORE. THEREFORE, I AM SELLING THEM CHEAPER THAN USUAL.
