Wollensak Fastax Raptar 2" 50mm f/2 Lens with Leica L39 LTM Mount Covers 35mm

Description: Wollensak Fastax-Raptar 2 inch 50mm f/2 manual focusing prime lens, originally for Wollensak Fastax cameras, but it has been converted for use on cameras with L39/M39 LTM mount. It covers full 35mm frame. Focusing distance scale is pretty accurate, there is no rangefinder coupling. Glass has no apparent scratches but there are multiple tiny coating marks, noticeable when shining light through the lens. Internally there is no haze, no fungus, minimal dust. Optically it performs well with normal sharpness for this lens type but slightly lower contrast, very interesting slightly dreamy vintage look IMHO. Aperture works well with no oil on blades. Focusing is smooth but slightly firm. Cosmetically there are significant signs of use such as paint loss on the barrel. No dents or serious scratches. It comes with original front cap, L39 rear cap and a case, as shown.
