Description: FOR DACHSUND AND ANIMAL LOVERSThis very rare excellent quality card tray has two dachshunds in the center surrounded by three roundels of a bear, a rabbit, and a fox, the reverse showing the impressed no. 284 which was presumably the catalog number, there is a light edging on the right of the number, but no other marks on the tray back. I purchased this about 30 years ago from an Art Nouveau and WMF specialist in the UK who confirmed, when purchased, that it was WMF, and I was told then that WMF pieces were made in several factories in Europe all of whom did not necessarily put on the WMF mark on pieces. Buyer should understand that authenticity is solely up to the purchaser as I only received the dealer's verbal attribution. Please note: Seller will include stand with the item. Dimensions: 6-3/4 inches X 5-1/4 inches. Condition: Item is in good condition with no evidence of breaks or bends. Note in photo #1 there is a light "x" scratch right above the dachsund on the right. Reverse is a bit tarnished may need cleaning. Seller will accept returns for refund only if not as described, and must be returned at Buyer's expense in the same condition as written in this description.
