Description: Mortem et Gloriam was launched in 2016 and has gathered a large body of support and players - culminating in a fine World Championship played in 2019 with representatives from UK, France and the USA all competing for the title. Maximus (largest) is our big battle game. Armies typically have 10-20 “units” and 70-100 bases. It is played on a 6’x4’ table with 15mm, or a 9’x5’ table with 28mm figures. Magna (large) has been designed to allow our great looking 28mm figures to be used on a standard 6’x4’ or to play 15mm scale where it is played on a 4’x3’ table. Armies still have 10-20 “units”, and this is why the game is fundamentally the same, just with fewer bases per unit. An army will typically be 40-60 bases. Games play to a conclusion in about 2 hours. Pacto (compact) is our small game, but in no way feels small as it keeps all the main features of Maximus that players like. Armies still have 10-20 “units” - so again this is why it keeps the feel of the larger games. But it can be played with armies of just 20-30 bases, making it good for travel and easy to build. How we Prepare, Build and Treat our Painting Process We have a Series of Steps we take to ensure that your models are the best Quality. 1. We start by cleaning the models with Soft Soap and Water Scrubbing with Brushes and rinsing to remove all mold release residue 2. We Clean Burrs, Flash, mold lines, and any imperfections resulting from the Manufacturing of the Models. 3. Assembly of the Models is meticulous to ensure all parts fit properly and that they are assembled securely using our best Techniques. 4. Before assembly and Painting we Research the Proper Formations, Uniforms, Weapons, and Equipment Used to verify correct Color pallets. 5. Once assembled we Prime our models from above and Below to ensure 100% coverage using Spray Can Paint and Primers Mostly. 6. Having researched the Uniforms etc. We begin the Painting Process 7. Rank and File Units that require Flags or Decals we Tend to use GMB flags, War Flags, Little Big Men Decals Primarily 8. Basing varies due to Game function or material used, Typically it is White PVA (Elmer?s) figures to bases. 9. We use a Brown Fine Ballast with course Ballast (stones) as our Grit level Which is applied to the base and bottom of figure using PVA, this also disguises the Base bulge of some Figures. 10. We use Army Painter Flocks aprox 50% coverage over the Grit using a watered down PVA 11. This all concludes with a dull Coat Sealer When you win more than one Auction We DO combine Shipping, Just request an Invoice or Wait till an Invoice is Generated for you.
