Description: This is an antique set of 5 teacups and 6 saucers by Wm. Guerin & Co. Limoges, France. They are known as pattern GUE127 on Replacements.com. The cups and saucers feature hand-decorated floral designs on 8 panels outlined in gold gilding. Based on the markings underneath the cups and saucers, they date from around 1920. The cups measure 4" across from tip of handle to opposite side of the cup rim, and 3 1/8" across the opening. They are each 2 1/4" tall from the table top. The saucers are about 5 1/2" in diameter. I see some loss to the gold gilding here and there, especially on the saucers where the cups have sat, and also on the handles here and there. The floral designs on the saucers and cups are in great condition overall, with just minimal loss to the paint. I see no staining of the delicate porcelain.
