Description: Once used 21" WL Weller Bourbon Barrel Head. This head was used in a WL Weller barrel that aged the liquor. The head is nice mostly flat and in good shape. It is a tongue and groove head that we do add a backer board so it will not come apart in shipping. The backer board is held on by screws and can be removed. The back side is charred and still a little dirty. These stamps do not come around often so it is a rare find with a legible stamp. The head has a buffalo trace stamp as well as a WL Weller stamp. There are some other markings in marker on the head from the distillery. The stamp is legible but as you can see in the pics it is a little blurry. The head has not been sanded and may have some dirt or glue on it. The head is pretty flat but it is once used so it has aged liquor and is susceptible to warping over time.
