DETAILS Although Indonesian vanilla beans are transplants from Madagascar, the unique soil conditions in Indonesia along with the increased rain from torrential rainstorms have completely changed the flavor profile of these delightful beans. While the beans still maintain some of that sweet and creamy character we love from Madagascar's beans, the environment lends a slight aroma of wood and smoke, much like pecan wood burning during a barbecue. They may ship with ice packs, if applicable, however additional ice packs are recommended during hot summer months.
