Wings and Airpower Magazines 1979, Full Yr... excellent condition

Description: You get 1979 Wings and Airpower ...they came out every other month and were complementary to each other from the same publisher.. I have a lot of these from 30 yrs .. this was a large estate .. I am still listing stuff from almost 2 yrs ago... All of the magazines are stored in a warm shop in plastic crates .. this keeps them from getting wet or beat up "Wings’ is a military aviation history magazine. It contains feature articles and photo features from World War One the the present day. A majority of the subjects are American aircraft types. There are usually two or three long articles in each issue – with a mostly pictorial content. Thee are typically 54 A4 size pages in each issue, with many color and b+w photos, and some drawings. It was first published in 1971 as a monthly, but later (1975?) it became bi-monthly. From then on wards it has been published on alternate months with ‘Airpower’ (see above). Until the late 1990s it was published by Sentry Books Inc. Ceased publication in mid 2007 when the circulation fell below an economically viable level."
