Description: Vintage Winchester 1st or very early 2nd model 1890 barrel. .22 Long caliber. 24 3/8 inch length. Remarkably good bore for the vintage, good rifling the full length with only minor pitting in the grooves. Good clean chamber, Good sight and magazine dovetails, good threads. Some expected handling marks, but no tool marks. I have shot LR cartridges with this barrel and it still has good accuracy, hitting 3 inch targets from 100 ft.
