Description: This is a vintage very high quality Wilton 600S bullet vise clone that has been completely refurbished. No filler was used in this restoration. New parts include the main tightening handle and swivel base tightening handles. I believe this vise is a Westward (Canada) brand, judging from what can be seen on the faded name plate. I am a Wilton enthusiast, but I have to say I am very impressed by the quality of this vise. The tolerances are very tight and the action is very smooth. Its dimensions are strikingly similar to the genuine Wilton 600, including the net weight of approximately 140 lbs. The swivel base that came with it is a genuine Wilton brand. I have been unable to locate any information about this vise - there seems to be nothing online about it. I even tried Garage Journal and didn’t find anyone who had seen one of these. This is an excellent, heavy duty tool that should last a lifetime. With a shipping weight of approximately 150 lbs, this vise will be shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx to the 48 continental states, probably in two packages.
