Wilson Audio Sophia series 1 speakers

Description: Wilson Audio Sophia Series 1 speakers in gloss piano black. speakers come with new Wilson sourced diffusor panels and new Wilson sourced crates. These are listed as parts / repair ONLY due to the diffusor panels deteriorating (new panels are included with the sale). All the drivers are in fine condition. These speakers have been in use for the past 2 years driven by tube electronics with no grills installed. COSMETIC CONDITION. 1. one speaker has a scratch on the rear of the upper cabinet (see photo)2. The second speaker has no defects. 3. both speakers need new diffusor panels installed (new panels sourced from Wilson are included with the sale)4. several of the grills have the corners worn where the fabric has worn through exposing the grill frame edge (see photos). 5. There are no holes in the face of the grills. The potential buyer has two options on these. 1. use the speakers with the grills off - they are plug and play for this. 2. take the time to carefully remove the old diffusor panels, remove all the old adhesive and install the new panels and then re-install the grills. The grills will not stay in place with the old diffusor panels in place. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. Crated each speaker weighs 325 pounds. UPDATE: several have asked about scratches on the cabinets. There are no scratches on the cabinets except for one on the rear. In the images, what appear as scratches are dust traces from the shrink wrap used to wrap the speakers. When the photos were taken I did not realize these were in the photos. Will see if I can get some better photos and post. thank you. PHOTOS added. recleaned both cabinets. sides are very clean. there are 4 small nicks about 1 mm in size. right speaker 1- upper back right2 - two nicks lower center right left speaker 1. 1mm nick bottom face right below woofer diffusion panel 2. 1 mm nick bottom side toward front panel.
