It was quality old-school made of mostly nickel-plated metal with glass Lenses by the Boyce Motometer Co. of Long Island City, N.Y. Great item for your antique Whippet/brass era car/Hot Rat Rod, early car/truck accessory, old Hood ornament/radiator cap/emblem/temperature gauge/gage or vintage Moto-meter/Motometer/Motormeter/motor collector. Thank you!MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 4-3/8" tall x 6-1/8" wide. It has about a 2" O.D. threaded base. CONDITION: Appears very good used overall with some plating wear/marks/three tight age cracks/glass is a tad loose on one side (needs gasket)/etc. I'm actually selling this part for DISPLAY PURPOSES because the glass thermometer tube, while intact, shows RED all the way to the top so most likely won't give you an accurate reading.
