Description: William Moorcroft Dawn Landscape Vase Dawn was produced in the 1920s as the third in a range of landscape designs by William Moorcroft. The scene is one of large trees over and behind rolling hills with hints of vegetation. The misty grey ground conjures up images of early morning sky just behind the sun peeps above the horizon. The decoration is completed by blue, grey and cream chevrons at the top with bands of blue over the rim and base. The vase is initialed by William Moorcroft with impressed marks. The condition is very good with no cracks, chips, damage or signs of restoration.
