Description: Greetings, I am Michael Henry Honack, the Henry in William Henry and co-founder of the finest folding knife company in the world. In this time I am selling part of my large collection of fine knives in order for them to be in the hands of collectors and those who appreciate this unique craft. All are brand new and unused. This exquisite knife has finely hand carved Mother-of-Pearl scales on both sides and a Mokume gane non-ferrous metal bolster. We believe this is an early T-12 with a titanium frame and A premium ATS 34 blade. Note the details in the lanyard. Adapted from the web: The mokume gane technique involves fusing several layers of different metals, and artistically exposing sections of lower layers. The metal is often made to display a pattern that mimics wood grain. A variety of metals can be used to give different arrays of coloration.[William Henry's] mokume is generally made with copper, brass, and nickel silver in either a 45 or 89 layer billet, forged and patterned by hand.
