He is known to have lived in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He studied art at the Massachusetts School of Art and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School. Partridge was a member of the Boston Art Club, Springfield Art Institute, Gloucester Society of Artists, and Business Men’s Art Club of Boston. He exhibited at the Boston Art Club in 1874. His work is represented at the Wellesley Public Library in Wellesley, Massachusetts and at the Greenville County Museum of Art.
