Description: 1861. Wilkie Collin's early masterpiece The Woman in White. This book seems to me a good candidate for a rebinding, especially in as much as the interiors look very nice. At the very least, if there spine were attended to, this would be a fine specimen for the mystery lover. The price reflects the condition, which is poor (at least for the spine and boards) as can be seen the photos. Two columns of print, with advertisements before and after the text. I believe this is a later state of this printing, as can be seen with some issue points regarding the latter adverts. In any case, a collectible book offered at a low price. Reasonable offers will certainly be considered.
